Ramen pizza in Taiwan

In a world where all sorts of wild foods like soy sauce bubble tea and thai garlic ice cream exist, ramen pizza doesn’t sound all too creative. In fact, making pizza with instant noodles is a thing – but Pizza Hut Taiwan is bringing this dish one step ahead.

Instead of just using noodles to form a crust, this new creation comes complete with what you’d find in a piping hot bowl of ramen – from succulent pieces of chashu (roast pork) to a gooey onsen egg.

In collaboration with Menya Musashi

Pizza Hut Taiwan is pairing up with Menya Musashi, a Japanese ramen restaurant, to bring this quirky dish to the table.

The pizza is made with the noodle house’s signature medium-thick ramen and comes topped with crispy bamboo shoots, chashu slices, spring onions, red chilli, white sesame seeds, and half a soft-boiled egg in the middle.

Biting into it is supposed to give customers a taste of slurping on regular ramen – and we can imagine it so!

Only available in Taiwan…for now

Sadly for fellow ramen and pizza fans out of Taiwan, we won’t be able to get our hands on it just yet.

Taiwanese fans can try it when it comes out on 30th June 2020. It’s also available for pre-order from now on their official website here, at 459 yuan for 1 large pizza, or 1,059 yuan in a set.

As for the rest of us, we’ll be patiently waiting to try it for ourselves!

For now, check out these other instant noodle recipes to try at home:
