Yoo Jae-suk to star in Disney+ variety show
On 3rd March 2022, Disney+ Korea revealed their plans to have MC Yoo Jae-suk, former Running Man member Lee Kwang-soo, and Girls Generation’s Yuri in their new mystery variety series, The Zone: Endure To Survive.

The variety show will be set in a virtual reality space, and the cast members will have to enter a secret door into an unknown world where the only rule is to survive, no matter what.
The project will be led by Jo Hyo-jin, a producer who has worked closely with Yoo Jae-suk on popular variety shows such as Running Man, X-Man, and Family Outing.

Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Kwang-soo previously worked together on the popular Netflix original Busted!, a variety show where a panel of Korean entertainers team up with celebrities to solve mysteries.
They also collaborated on Running Man together for 11 years, before Lee Kwang-soo’s departure in 2021, and many fans are already looking forward to their on-screen reunion.

Having been cast on Running Man multiple times, Girl’s Generation member Yuri is not unfamiliar with both Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Kwang-soo.
Yuri has her own Youtube channel – 유리한TV, where she uploads videos introducing various recipes, as well as vlogs about her daily life.
It is her down-to-earth personality and her natural variety sense that gives Yuri her star quality, and explains why she is well-loved by her fans.
The Zone: Endure To Survive set to air in first half of 2022
The variety show with a star-studded cast is expected to air in the first half of 2022, and will be available for viewers in the Asia-Pacific region.
Apart from this mystery variety series, Disney+ Korea also has a fresh lineup of shows such as the noir drama series Big Mouse, starring Lee Jong-suk and YoonA, as well as the romance drama Soundtrack #1, which features Han So-hee and Park Hyung-sik.
