Family Mart Indonesia offers delivery services and promos
Convenience stores are places that you normally go to when you’re craving for a snack or need something urgently. But in Indonesia, they are quite unique because they also function like cafes – a place to socialize or get some work done.
However, with large-scale social restrictions in place due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, convenience store chains have had to come up with a new strategy to sustain their operations. That’s why Family Mart is now providing home deliveries, special promos, and new drinks.
Place your order via Whatsapp
For Family Mart, you don’t even have to download an app to order from them. All you have to do is place an order for your groceries or snacks via WhatsApp, a popular messaging app, which saves you a ton of phone storage space and time.

Simply send your orders to your nearest Family Mart outlet’s WhatsApp number. You will then be asked to make your payment through BCA Bank Transfer, or apps such as OVO and cashbac. And your purchase will be delivered to your doorstep via GoSend or Grab Express.
However, do note that only the outlets listed here offer this service so be sure to double check before you write out your shopping list.
Get promos and new drinks

Up to 15th May 2020, you can get a number of special Ramadan promos from Family Mart. Paket Ramadan, for example, includes iftar essentials such as fruit syrup, tea, cooking oil, a 5KG bag of rice, margarine and instant noodles. It’s Rp. 125,000 (~USD8.34), or Rp. 115,000 (~USD7.67) for OVO account holders – so you save around 10% off the original prices.

If you’re fasting and you feel like having a refreshing sweet drink for iftar, try one of Family Mart’s new Klepon drinks. The Es Kopi Klepon and Es Boba Klepon cost Rp. 15,000 (~USD1) each.

Fans of iced coffee, or es kopi susu, will be happy to know that Family Mart’s popular Kopi Susu Keluarga is now available in 1-liter bottles (Rp. 60,000, ~USD4). Instead of ordering a cup every day, you can now stock up on your favorite caffeinated drink during this long stay-at-home period.
The 1-liter Kopi Susu Keluarga isn’t available at all outlets, so be sure to check if your go-to store is listed here.
Use the available services and stay at home
As much as we miss dropping by the convenience store to get a snack or a cold drink, it’s important that we stay at home as much as we can until the pandemic tides over. Use the delivery services offered by Family Mart and get what you need without having to break quarantine.
