Many gardens to explore
Nong Nooch Tropical Garden is a 500-acre botanical garden and is the largest botanical garden in Southeast Asia, with many sections dedicated to sculptures and specific plants. It takes more than half a day to explore the gardens, some of which include:
- Orchid Garden
- Butterfly Hill (plants arranged into shapes and animal sculptures)
- Waterfall Garden (man-made waterfalls)
- Heart Garden
- Bonsai Garden
- Cactus Garden

They even have their own Stonehenge at the aptly-named Stonehenge Garden, centred around a circle of hedges.
Look out for the tuk-tuk made of clay pots.

There are more than 100,000 pots in the Pottery Garden, and a lot of potted arches to take selfies under.

The Italian Garden has imported marble statues, columns, as well as fountains styled after a Roman garden for a classical look.

The French Garden has dozens of red telephone booths next to golden pagodas, blending a common sight in Thailand with one from Europe.

The Garden In The Sky has hanging plants shaped like spheres, stars, and hearts. There are also dinosaurs sculptures peculiarly placed around this section.

The 7-story Ant Tower has 5,000 ant sculptures climbing it, with a cafe located on the second floor.
Other sections include the Mammoth Garden with a herd of mammoth sculptures and the Flamingo Garden full of flamingo sculptures.
Stop and smell the roses
Nong Nooch Garden is a peaceful retreat from cities, and big enough to spend all day walking around. It is a 2-hour drive from Bangkok and adjacent to Nong Nooch Dinosaur Valley.
