Their Ribeye Rice Bowl (Regular: ฿169, ~USD5.20) came with a shoyu-pickled yolk and crispy fried shallots. As per our request, the steak was beautifully cooked to medium and remained pink in the middle. It was only seasoned with pepper and salt, which really brought out the beef’s natural flavour.
For those who prefer their steak on the softer side, this is a perfect bowl for you as the texture was moist and chewy.
The Sirloin Rice Bowl (Regular: ฿159, ~USD4.90) was denser in texture and more firm compared to the ribeye, but the chef handled it very well and didn’t overcook the steak, so it still held a lot of juice and remained tender.
The shoyu-pickled yolk was made in a Japanese style and had a great savoury taste and buttery texture, which added more flavour to the dishes. At the same time, the crispy fried shallots added a crunch and gave more texture to every bite.
When you order, don’t hesitate to let them know how you’d like your steak: well-done, medium, medium-rare, or rare.
This place also has a Beef Buffet (฿399, ~USD12.30) with over 30 items to order including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and soft drink. The buffet session is available from 5pm to 12.30am with no time limit.
