Like me, many people might have had childhood dreams of being a teacher. However, being one isn’t an easy task. From teaching to taking care of their students, a teacher has many responsibilities.

In Thailand, those who want to be government teachers can gain the opportunity after passing a particular exam. Some spend a long time preparing for this as it’s a difficult task – and this determined lady finally conquered it after trying hard 15 times.

 Where there’s a will, there’s a way

Sunisa Cheimay shared her experience on Facebook about her journey of becoming an assistant teacher.

In her post, she gave a detailed account of all the times she had taken the examination. She finally succeeded on her 15th try.

“I believed in my dream, and I’ve been waiting for this moment for years. There are many times I’ve thought of giving up, but finally, my efforts have brought me this result. 23rd August 2019 is the day I’m a full-time government teacher,” she wrote.

Family proud of her for not giving up

Being a teacher isn’t as easy as we think, and there are many things that teachers have to go through. After all, they are responsible for the future of their students. This can be one of the most rewarding careers once the hard work pays off!
