Stepping into 4mooso is like stepping into a time travel machine. While the cafe follows a retro and vintage theme, the space is by no means tacky. Instead, you’d find yourself feeling comfortable basking in the warmth of past memories and childhood experiences. Now, let’s time travel, shall we?

The cafe is packed with vintage toys that will be familiar to 80s and 90s kids, and you’d easily recognise cartoon characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Kermit the Frog, and Wallace and Gromit.

There’s an old-school TV set that plays old cartoon shows in black and white too – it’s certainly a different experience compared to watching Netflix shows on laptops or wide TV screens. Also, it will get you reminiscing about your favourite childhood cartoon shows!

The interior of the cafe was obviously meticulously designed. Every corner is filled with knick-knacks that, though nostalgic, are actually considered rare finds. Clearly, the owners went to lengths to source the decor.

4mooso may not be the most spacious cafe, but it certainly creates a warm and cosy space for visitors who want to immerse themselves in sentimental moments.

You know it’s a dilemma when the desserts you order are simply too cute to be eaten. What’s more, the cups bear illustrations of equally adorable cartoon characters.

The brownie is priced at KRW4,000 (~USD3.18), and it’s one of the cafe’s bestselling desserts. Take note that it sells out fast, so make sure you head down to the cafe as early as possible.

4mooso also offers semi-traditional Korean snacks such as bean paste biscuits in the shape of Doraemon. Each bean paste biscuit costs KRW3,000 (~USD2.38).

Their signature drinks include the 4mooso Latte (KRW6,000, ~USD4.77) and Summer Latte (KRW5,500, ~USD4.37). What makes these drinks special is that they are topped with a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream, adding an extra touch of decadence to the treat.

Another popular beverage choice here is the Melon Soda (KRW5,500, ~USD4.37). This refreshing drink is perfect for summer, and it’s topped with vanilla ice cream and an adorable mini cone. 


Getting to 4mooso in 3 quick steps 


Take note that the cafe is located in Busan. It’s only a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station.

  • Make your way to Exit 5 of Geumnyeonsan Station (line 2) and turn right. 
  • Walk until you reach a turning corner, then walk straight for about 190m.
  • You’ll see the cafe on your right. Don’t forget to look up as it’s located on the second floor.
