Woman gets a hilarious birthday cake fail when ordering online<\/h2>\n

Birthday cake fails are pretty much a meme category by themselves at this point. Yes, the context is always the same: someone orders a birthday cake made with a particular instruction, and the baker misunderstands or fails to execute their idea. Still, each case is spectacular in its own way that these memes never fail to crack us up.<\/p>\n

And there\u2019s a reason these fails are so popular. Apparently, they happen way more than you\u2019d think. Case in point, a woman recently received her own birthday cake fail when her baker took her order too literally<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On Monday, a woman named Ph\u01b0\u01a1ng Trinh<\/a> posted on Th\u00e1nh Riviu<\/a> \u2013 a Facebook review group \u2013 to share a hilarious fail she encountered while contacting a baker via Facebook to order a birthday cake.<\/p>\n

According to a screenshot of their conversation shared by Ph\u01b0\u01a1ng Trinh, she sent the baker an online cake picture to use as a model. She asked them to \u201cwrite Happy Birthday as the picture, and replace the name with Fianc\u00e9.\u201d<\/p>\n

But it would seem her meaning was lost to the baker, because they literally wrote \u201cHappy Birthday As The Picture\u201d on the cake.<\/p>\n

The funny incident gave us and thousands of netizens a good laugh. Many also shared their own birthday cake fail stories to contribute to the discussion.<\/p>\n

As it turns out, misunderstandings can happen to more things than cakes at a birthday party. Commenter V\u01b0\u01a1ng Ph\u00e1t Huang<\/a> posted a picture that summed up his experience ordering birthday balloons. He wanted to print the text \u201cCheer to 27 years\u201d on the balloons, and noted \u201cWith a big 27\u201d. He was even so careful as to put his note in brackets to make his intention clear.<\/p>\n

Yet, the printer failed to understand him. The result? Balloons with the text \u201cCheer to 27 years (With a big 27)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nguy\u1ec5n Ng\u1ecdc T\u00f9ng<\/a>, seemingly a Kpop fan, wanted a birthday cake with the text \u201cApink 10th Anniversary\u201d to celebrate his favorite girl group turning 10 years old. The cake would have been lovely if the world \u201canniversary\u201d hadn\u2019t been crammed into such a small space that it became crooked.<\/p>\n

Outside of texts, birthday cake fails manifest in other forms as well.<\/p>\n

Netizen Oanh Tr\u1ea7n<\/a> put together a picture collage that compared the cake she wanted to the one she got. She wanted a cake that resembled a smiley face, with a crown made of cheese and salted eggs. Instead, what the baker delivered her looked more like a frown with a flower circlet \u2013 no cheese nor salted eggs were seen.<\/p>\n

While Ph\u01b0\u01a1ng Trinh didn\u2019t quite get the birthday cake she imagined, at least she came away with a funny story that has delighted so many people. All in all, we\u2019d say the cake served its purpose \u2013 to spread joy.<\/p>\n
