While bubble tea<\/a> is a tasty and energizing drink beloved by many people, excessive consumption of it is not without consequences. Some of the most common effects caused by drinking too much of this popular beverage include allergic reactions and acne breakouts.<\/span><\/p>\n

As troublesome as they sound, for a drug dealer in H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng, they were not the worst things about chewy tapioca balls and flavorful tea. On 31st March, the drug dealer\u00a0who had managed to escape jail for 14 years was arrested while buying bubble tea<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

B\u00f9i V\u0103n L\u0129nh<\/b>, a 50-year-old resident in H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng, was convicted of drug trafficking 14 years ago when L\u0129nh\u2019s drug ring, which was one of the largest in northern Vietnam, was busted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After L\u0129nh\u2019s partners were arrested, L\u0129nh ran away and landed on the local police force\u2019s wanted list.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2012, L\u0129nh turned himself in and was bailed out by his wife. After claiming that he suffered from mental illness and was deemed unfit to stand trial, L\u0129nh was sent to a psychiatric hospital for treatment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, L\u0129nh ran away shortly after his admission into hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nTo send local police on a wild goose chase, he underwent transgender surgery and adopted a new identity as a woman. After doing so, L\u0129nh moved to Qu\u1ea3ng Ninh. L\u0129nh then opened a chain of businesses in H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng and moved back and forth between the two cities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After years of investigation, H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng policemen found out that <\/span>B\u00f9i V\u0103n L\u0129nh <\/b>was still alive and was now living as a woman.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On 31st March, B\u00f9i V\u0103n L\u0129nh was ambushed by a group of policemen when driving a Mercedes car to a shop in Th\u1ee7y Nguy\u00ean District in H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng to buy pearl milk tea.<\/span><\/p>\n
