Taking yearbook photos is an experience we only get once, and they are mementos reminding us of some of the best years of our lives. As such, it is understandable that people always come up with unique ways to make their yearbook photos as unique as possible.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen Vietnamese high school students penning hilarious quotes<\/a> to accompany their yearbook photos, and more recently, another student has gone viral for her unique horror-themed shots.<\/p>\n

The pictures were taken at the Xu\u00e2n H\u01b0ng High School in \u0110\u1ed3ng Nai Province by H\u1ed3 Ti\u1ebfn \u0110\u1ea1t<\/strong><\/a>, a photographer living in H\u1ed3 Ch\u00ed Minh City.<\/p>\n

According to \u0110\u1ea1t, he didn\u2019t plan the idea beforehand<\/strong>, but only came up with it spontaneously on the day itself. The weather was dark and rainy, which, combined with the school setting, made for a perfect backdrop for a horror-themed photoshoot<\/strong> session.<\/p>\n

And indeed, pictures of a schoolgirl in a white \u00e1o d\u00e0i <\/em>sitting in a dimly lit classroom corner with her face hidden in the shadow may send a chill up your spine.<\/p>\n

In another shot, the girl is seen on a dark staircase. With the long ao dai <\/i>covering her feet, she looks as if she\u2019s floating.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, this photo of the girl sitting in a defeated pose, as scary as it looks, prompted many comments joking that she\u2019s probably under the pressure of studying<\/strong>, or maybe that her crush rejected her.<\/p>\n

\u201cGhosts get depressed from studying too. It\u2019s no joke,\u201d netizen Lan Anh<\/a> commented.

Netizens are impressed<\/h3>\n

The photos impressed thousands of netizens when they were shared by Facebook user Ho\u00e0ng Kha<\/a> on Tr\u01b0\u1eddng Ng\u01b0\u1eddi Ta<\/a>, a forum about interesting school-related stories. Many people are tagging their friends to say they should do something similar for their own photoshoots.<\/p>\n

The blood-curdling vibe of the shots has not deterred commenters from making quips about them either. Netizen Nhung Nguy\u1ec5n<\/a>, for instance, joked, \u201cHaving to take yearbook photos when you\u2019re insecure about your face be like\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

And while the model\u2019s face is shrouded, a lot of netizens are still impressed by her beautiful figure<\/strong>. Facebook user Minh Ho\u00e0ng<\/a> says, \u201cThis ghost looks finer than my girlfriend\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, netizen L\u00ea Qu\u1ed1c Anh claims that if he were to run into a ghost that looks like this, he\u2019d willingly let it take him.<\/p>\n

Horror-themed yearbook photos<\/h3>\n

Nobody wants to take yearbook pictures on a gloomy day. Sure, we can go indoor, but all the cheeky poses we\u2019ve planned with our friends just wouldn\u2019t be complete without the bright sunlight adding to the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

But Ti\u1ebfn \u0110\u1ea1t has proven that with some creativity, you can turn a less-than-ideal situation into something awesome. The unconventional theme no doubt made this student’s yearbook photos a whole lot more special. We have to give kudos for the photographer for thinking on his feet to come up with an out-of-the-box solution.<\/p>\n
