Turn right from there, and it\u2019s another 10KM drive until you reach the waterfall. Sure, the journey might be a bit lengthy, but the moment you lay eyes on Pongour, you\u2019ll see that it\u2019s totally worth the effort.<\/span><\/p>\n

From Tuy H\u00f2a City, you can get here by following National Route 25 to the southwest for 15KM, then take a left to enter National Route 29. From there, continue for 40KM then take another left to Provincial Road 649, 20KM into which you\u2019ll find the waterfall.<\/span><\/p>\n

The journey takes roughly 2 hours, so depart at around 8 in the morning, and you\u2019ll arrive just in time for a photo session and a picnic in the open space around the waterfall. The ideal time to visit would be from November to March, as the water slows down to a trickle during summer, meaning the sight won\u2019t be as stunning as it could be.<\/span><\/p>\n

While you\u2019re here, you\u2019ll also get to participate in several other entertainment activities, such as ostrich-spotting or even crocodile fishing. And no, don\u2019t feel guilty because you are not hurting any crocodiles in the process. <\/span>

Bu\u00f4n Ma Thu\u1ed9t<\/b> is another underrated destination of the Central Highlands of Vietnam. While the city itself is a humble one, the area surrounding it is home to spectacular scenery. <\/span>

Head southwest on National Route 14 for 20KM, then take a left at H\u00f9ng V\u01b0\u01a1ng Street to enter Provincial Road 684. Pass the entrance, continue driving for a short while and you\u2019ll get to the parking area. From there, it\u2019s a 20-minute walk on dirt paths and a suspension bridge before you can feast your eyes on the magnificent <\/span>Dray Sap Waterfall<\/b>, a cluster of 5 torrents pouring down a vast, crystal-clear lake.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other side of the mountain from Dray Sap is the Dray Nur Waterfall, another sight for sore eyes. In the past, people used to have to drive all the way around the mountain if they wanted to visit both of the waterfalls, but recently, a bridge has been erected to connect the two, and they are now just a few minutes\u2019 walk away from one another.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019ll take only a short drive of 10KM on Provincial Road 47 from the city to get to the ecotourism park that the waterfall calls home.<\/span><\/p>\n

The world \u201cTranh\u201d in Vietnamese translates to \u201cPainting\u201d, which already gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect: white cascades of water decorating the lush greenery of the forest. It\u2019ll take some trekking through a short forest trail to get to the waterfall, but you\u2019ll get to feel in sync with nature on the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

The park itself is also a delight, boasting plenty of photo opportunities with beautiful bonsai gardens and lively statues. Located at the border between Vietnam and China, B\u1ea3n Gi\u1ed1c Waterfall is around 350KM from Hanoi, which is quite a distance. Still, that hasn\u2019t deterred adventurous spirits from all over northern Vietnam from braving the journey here, most often on motorbikes, for a chance to gawk at this masterpiece of Mother Nature.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite its name, though, the side waterfall is a sight to behold in its own right with multiple streams running down from the side of a green mountain, sending water droplets flying and creating rainbows to add to the already colorful backdrop.<\/span><\/p>\n
