Multiple cases of COVID-19 community transmissions have been reported in \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng<\/strong> since last week, and given that the central city is a tourist hotspot of Vietnam, authorities from all over Vietnam have been racing against time<\/a> to track down all who have visited it in the past month to stop the virus from spreading.<\/p>\n

Those who have visited \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng in recent times are urged to report their health conditions<\/strong> to the nearest medical authorities and practice self-isolation at home. Some families, however, have not only complied with the call, but have also taken it one step further by printing out warning notes<\/strong> to hang outside their houses, warning others to stay away<\/strong>. Their display of responsibility has earned kudos from netizens and even made headlines.<\/p>\n

On 27th July, a Facebook user who goes by the name D\u01b0\u01a1ng T\u1ea5n Ho\u00e0ng<\/a><\/strong> posted a picture on his personal Facebook wall, which shows a house with a note hanging on its door. The note reads:<\/p>\n

\u201cOur family has just returned from a vacation to \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng \u2013 Qu\u1ea3ng Ng\u00e3i. We are practising self-quarantine for 14-days now. Neighbors, please stay away, thank you very much.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Ho\u00e0ng, this house belongs to his brother, who lives in the city of B\u00e0 R\u1ecba \u2013 V\u0169ng T\u00e0u<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Netizens show their appreciation to the family<\/h3>\n

The simple yet highly appraisable act from Ho\u00e0ng\u2019s brother quickly attracted the attention of the Vietnamese online community. Hundreds of people have shared Ho\u00e0ng\u2019s post, and netizens are flocking in to shower the family’s actions with praise.<\/p>\n

\u201cD\u1ec5 th\u01b0\u01a1ng qu\u00e1\u201d (so cute), \u201cd\u1ec5 th\u01b0\u01a1ng qu\u00e1 th\u1ec3 \u0111\u00e1ng\u201d (too cute to handle), \u201cd\u1ec5 th\u01b0\u01a1ng x\u1ec9u\u201d (so cute I\u2019m gonna pass out) are some of the comments that can be spotted under the pictures, shared by netizen Trang Dinh<\/a> on Ch\u00e1o H\u00e0nh Mi\u1ec5n Ph\u00ed<\/a> \u2013 a Facebook group where Vietnamese youths share positive stories.<\/p>\n

Commenting on Trang Dinh\u2019s post, netizen Cao Minh Tr\u00ed<\/a> also said he had come across a similar occurrence<\/strong> in his neighborhood. He attached to his comment a picture of a house with a sign hanging outside. The sign says: \u201cWe\u2019ve been to \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng. Sorry! No visitors for now!\u201d<\/p>\n

Similar situation makes headlines<\/h3>\n

On Tuesday, VNExpress<\/a> also reported that a similar situation was spotted in Qu\u1ea3ng Ng\u00e3i Province<\/a>. L\u00ea V\u0103n Tr\u00ecnh and Nguy\u1ec5n T\u1ea5n M\u00e3n, two neighbors living in Ch\u00e1nh L\u1ed9 Ward, Qu\u1ea3ng Ng\u00e3i City<\/strong> also attached warning notes outside their houses, asking people to stay away.<\/p>\n

Tr\u00ecnh, M\u00e3n, and their two families reportedly went on a vacation to the island of Ph\u00fa Qu\u1ed1c together on 20th July. During the trip, they stopped by \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng to visit a relative<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Upon returning on 24th July and learning that a man had tested positive for COVID-19 in \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng<\/a>, the two families went to a local medical facility to declare their health conditions<\/strong>. They were then instructed to practice self-isolation at home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Simply by staying at home, Tr\u00ecnh, M\u00e3n, and the others are already doing the entire Vietnamese community a great service. They no doubt deserve all the attention and praise, and hopefully, their stories will help inspire others to follow suit.<\/p>\n
