Hai Phong\u2019s first man-made beach opens this week<\/span><\/h2>\n

Do Son peninsula<\/a>, 20KM away from Hai Phong\u2019s city center and 120KM away from Hanoi<\/a>, is a popular picnic spot for families over the weekends.<\/strong> The peninsula in the north of Vietnam is home to a myriad of beautiful beaches as well as fun activities such as paragliding and water motorcycling.<\/p>\n

Starting from this Saturday, 6th June <\/strong>onwards, visitors can check out Do Son peninsula\u2019s brand new beach, sparkling with golden sands and clear waters. Incredibly, it\u2019s a man-made beach.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From 6th June,<\/strong> residents and visitors in Hai Phong can explore the Doi Rong tourism zone<\/strong>, where the city\u2019s first man-made beach<\/strong> is located.<\/p>\n

Stretching over 1KM and boasting a size of 23 hectares, the beach is graced by rows of coconut trees and covered in 50,000 tons of imported golden sand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a good swim, visitors can go for a walk around the resort square decked out with landscapes, fountains, and striking decorations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unlike the murky waters in many beaches in Do Son, the waters in Doi Rong resort have been filtered<\/strong> so that they become cleaner and look crystal-clear.<\/p>\n

More amenities to come in Doi Rong Resort<\/span><\/h3>\n

Developed by Geleximco Group<\/a>, the construction of Doi Rong tourism zone started in 2019 and is estimated to be completed in 2023.<\/p>\n

Doi Rong Resort is 480 hectares large and will soon keep visitors entertained with a resort, restaurants, a 18-hole golf course, and water parks<\/strong>, which are currently all under construction.<\/p>\n

With new places to hang out and have fun in the Doi Rong tourism zone, including this man-made beach, residents and visitors in Do Son can expect more entertainment options, and more deals and promotions <\/strong>from service providers in the area.<\/p>\n

People will have more space to spread out beyond the existing beaches which can get crowded during holidays.<\/p>\n

Do Son Beach<\/span><\/h3>\n

Do Son<\/strong> is a peninsula that’s only roughly 30 minutes\u2019 drive away from Hai Phong\u2019s city center. Being a popular resort ever since the French colonial period,<\/strong> it is home to snap-worthy French architecture in addition to its numerous beaches.<\/p>\n

The peninsula is also the top destination for seafood among visitors from nearby provinces, who also flock here to lounge in the sun and try out water sport activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n
