Vietpride 2022 – Nguy\u1ec5n Hu\u1ec7 Street turns into an LGBT+ parade<\/h2>\n

A much-needed piece of news for LGBT+ people living in Saigon, Vietpride<\/strong> \u2013 Vietnam\u2019s gay pride parade, will celebrate its first comeback after a 2-year hiatus. The big parade will be held on Saturday, 1st October 2022 this week. The event is free and open for all to join without the need for registration.<\/p>\n

For this year\u2019s Vietpride, the theme is \u201cNo mold fits all\u201d, which encourages an escape from gender norms and stereotypical understandings of sexualities and relationships.<\/p>\n

Vietpride 2022 will officially begin on 1st October at 1 pm and is divided into two parts. The first is titled Big Event \u2013 an opening ceremony for the whole parade with musical performances from artists such as Cece Tr\u01b0\u01a1ng and Ph\u01b0\u01a1ng Vy, as well as drag performances by local drag queens.<\/p>\n

Head over to the 3rd floor of Kim \u0110\u00f4 Hotel \u2013 133 Nguy\u1ec5n Hu\u1ec7, District 1 to watch the show. The event is free to enter for everyone and will last from 1 pm to 4 pm.<\/p>\n

Afterward, join the colorful parade in the Pride Walk event \u2013 which will take place across the entire street of Nguy\u1ec5n Hu\u1ec7 from 4 pm to 6 pm.<\/p>\n

Alongside the events is a group minigame titled \u201cFind the Secret Factor\u201d, organized in many prominent locations around District 1. Participants in this event will have to solve a variety of cyphers, puzzles, as well as challenging group activities to have a chance at getting a prize at the end. However, spots for the game are fully booked for this year.<\/p>\n
