There are a whopping 19 rides to choose from here. Challenge your inner speed demon and dive into the Abyss, the largest water slide in Thailand, which will give you a near-vertical spin on an inflatable raft along with other 5 people before plunging into a giant funnel at speeds over 45km/hour – perfect for adventurous souls.

3.Ramayana Park – Thailand’s biggest water park
Distance from Bangkok: 2 hours
Using traditional Thai art and classic epics as a theme, Ramayana Park has really distinguished itself and stands out from other water parks in terms of style. Also, it’s the biggest water park in Thailand.
Watch out, a huge load of water will regularly be dumped from the monkey’s mouth!

As its name suggests, the main concept is taken from the Indian epic, Ramayana, and is also inspired by traditional Thai artistic designs from hundreds of years ago.
Aside from colourful giant slides and long lazy river, there’s also a small pool with a DJ booth and foam generator to create a raving day-time foam party for everyone.

The waterpark, Splash World, is located in the mountains with a view of the national park, giving you a sense of ultimate relaxation while floating around in a huge pool with artificial waves.

Who said malls are only perfect for indoor activities? Fantasia Lagoon proves that you can have a nice day at the waterpark situated on top of a shopping mall.
And better yet, this waterpark is right in Bangkok and close to the newly opened Lak Song MRT station so you won’t have to spend a lot of time to get to it.

Pororo AquaPark is another rooftop waterpark in Bangkok situated over CentralPlaza Bangna.
The waterpark is created after a cute Korean animated character, Pororo the Little Penguin, painting the whole park with candy-like colours.
If you’re afraid of Bangkok’s raging sun like us, there is a huge indoor pool with a jacuzzi system provided for a leisurely soak.

10. Siam Park City – old-school Thai waterpark from the 80s

For Bangkokians, there is no other waterpark more famous and classic than the Siam Park City, an amusement and water park that has been running since 1980.
Though the waterpark doesn’t have super fancy slides like the newer places, its legendary speed rainbow slide is enough to draw people in. The water slide is 21 metres tall, equivalent to a 7-storey building
It was once featured in Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s tallest water slide.
