Vaccinated tourists visit Thailand

On 24th February 2021, the National News Bureau of Thailand announced that Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-o-cha is considering exempting vaccinated tourists from the mandatory 2 week quarantine period.

Thailand’s shifting stance

While the Kingdom of Thailand allowed visitors into the country, they maintained a firm stance on the fact that all tourists must undergo a 14 day quarantine period where they submit to Covid-19 testing.
