Around 2 am that evening, officer Sakda woke up and noticed that the air conditioner in his daughter’s bedroom was running. Mr. Sakda’s daughter is said to be away in a different city, which is what prompted the policeman to check through the bedroom window, where he found a stranger cocooned in his daughter’s duvet.

The sleeping stranger turned out to be Mr. Athip. Officer Sakda responded by calling for backup, who were said to have shouted quite audibly in order to wake up the snoozing burglar, according to Kom Chad Luek
