Tako Trip is a floating seafood restaurant in Pattaya is where it’s as fresh as it gets; after all, you’ll be fishing for your meal right from the boat, that sits in the middle of the ocean.

From squid and prawns to a variety of fish and even octopus, customers will be able to munch on their catch of the day after a fun fishing session.

Everyone is equipped with fishing rods, so no need to worry about lugging around your own equipment. Not a pro? Beginners will also get help from the staff here too. A visit here which includes the fishing and meal costs ฿400/pax, but bigger groups who’d like to have the boat to themselves will also be able to book a fishing boat charter. The prices range from ฿5,000-฿7,000 for parties between 10-20 people.

Once you’re satisfied with your haul, simply hand it to the staff who will prep and serve you a platter of freshly sliced seafood with delish sauces like seafood and wasabi dips. Choose to have it sashimi style or grilled. This is done for free too, so you’ll essentially only be paying for the fishing experience.

The evenings are the best time to visit the restaurant as you’ll get to see a fantastic view of the ocean against the setting sun while fishing, and then enjoy a filling dinner right after.
