Sharing pantries in Thailand have helped a lot of people during the pandemic. Aside from a supply of food and essentials, the pantries also shed light on various acts of kindness people have done for their community

This is a story from Phuket that’ll spread more happy vibes. The province’s district mayor shared his experience where he supported an underprivileged street side seller and his fellow neighbours to help put food on the table.

She shared, “There have been no customers from 3AM till now. My husband is at the hospital now too.”

Mr. Samran decided to buy all of the vegetables and bring them to a sharing pantry in the community. Doing so also helped grandma get some income, all while helping others in the neighbourhood too.

He ended the post saying that “grandma was very shocked but happy. Money can’t buy this kind of happiness”.

We appreciate his kindness and responsibility to his community, even if it means going beyond his duties.

We hope both grandma and her husband remain in good health, and for everybody who is going through a difficult time, we are rooting for you too!
