Starbucks Automall Rangsit in Pathum Thani
It’s the year 2021, and while the world might not be as futuristic as our ancestors must have imagined with flying cars, at least our coffee shops look the part.
Starbucks Automall Rangsit, which sits around an hour from Bangkok, looks just like a super villain HQ or a spacecraft from Star Wars.

This special outlet sits at Automall Rangsit in Pathum Thani, a town in central Thailand that’s about an hour drive from Bangkok. Being a standalone branch, the architects at A49 must have enjoyed going all out designing it!
They also described the design as being one inspired by “dynamism and speed”.

From afar, you could even say it resembles the “wai” gesture – two palms coming together as a greeting, which is a common form of courtesy in Thailand.
But if your imagination is a little more on the wild side, you could even say this looks like a command shuttle from Star Wars or the Stark Towers from Avengers!
It also looks like a super villain could walk out of there any minute
