Siam Center celebrates Pride Month from 15 June 2022

When the month of June rolls around, it traditionally heralds a celebration of love regardless of labels. In recent years, metropolitan Bangkok has been known to kick into full swing for Pride Month festivities, flying the rainbow flag high.

But if you’re wondering where to head to for meaningful live shows, bazaars, BL series screenings in a secret theatre and IG-spots with rainbows splashed all over them, look no further than Siam Center.

Here’s what locals and tourists can expect if they’re headed to the Siam shopping district this June. *spoiler alert* We hope you adore rainbows as much as we do.

Rainbow walkways and neon photobooths in Siam Center

As an act of solidarity with those who’re celebrating freedom of expression and love this year, Siam Center is sparing no effort in decking out the mall in all the colours of the rainbow – from its entrances to the walking paths in front of LUSH.

Eagle-eyed visitors will also spot neon rainbow photo booths which showcase trinkets on sale this Pride Month from the vendors.

After snapping shots in your preferred themed installations – or printing pics in person in PICAPICA photobooths – you may be feeling just a lil’ thirsty, if you get what we mean.

Be sure to drop by the event area for free cotton candy stalls, ice-blended rainbow slushies and live shows – helmed by this squad of fiery hot and confident dancers slayin’ the stage.

To liven up the shared spaces in the mall, we think these shows will surely bring a lot of talking points across in a humorous and dynamic way.

Secret theatre with BL show screenings

Speaking of art, there’s also no better way to tug at the heartstrings than screenings of beloved Thai BL series that have racked up thousands of global fans to date.

And here’s the kicker, guests will be housed in a “secret theatre” to watch 6 famous BL TV series in full HD display from wall-to-wall projectors on Floor 1 of the mall.

Expect special director’s cuts that’ve never been screened before at Domundi x Siam Center’s The Secret Theatre, and collectible souvenirs for fans throughout the 3 weeks of screenings from 15th June to 3rd July 2022.

Psst. Here’s the list of 3 BL series – adapted from web novels – that will be shown:

In case you’re planning a trip down, we’d recommend packing a few boxes of tissue as they are pretty squeal-inducing, but those tear-jerking scenes are sure to get you nonetheless.
