Why did the python cross the road?

Don’t mind him – he’s just a python crossing the road. Around 6.30am on Thursday, the rush hour traffic on Sukhumvit Road in Samut Prakan province was interrupted by a 6-metre-long python.

Drivers, motorcyclists, and even a cyclist stopped to look at the snake’s attempt to cross the road, which caused a long jam.

Traffic police officer saves the day

Who better to clear the traffic if not the traffic police? This policeman was doing just that after he had received the report. He grabbed the serpent by its tail and dragged it out of the street to safety – and the safety of the other road users as well.

Netizens tease snake for not using pedestrian crossing

In the comments section, people thanked the police for saving the python by dragging him off the street.

There are lots of jokes going on too; people are teasing a python for not using the pedestrian crossing and interrupting traffic during rush hours. They were also encouraging the police to fine the serpent.

Guys, just don’t copy this python’s bad road behaviour and always use the pedestrian crossing. If not, the police might not come and drag you away, but fine you instead!
