Pictures or videos believed to show paranormal activity are commonly found across Thai social media channels.
Though most of these eerie videos can be explained with scientific reasoning, some of them are still believed to be associated with supernatural beings or even spirits of dead people.

Footage shows doggo playing with invisible entity
On 1st February 2022, footage of a doggo, Toto, frolicking with an unseen being was uploaded on Facebook account, ธาตรี วารีชล.
Drawing a lot of attention from netizens and several media outlets such as NewsWorkpoint and Naewna, The spine-chilling CCTV clip showed the Toto frolicking with an entity which is nowhere to be seen in the footage.

The spooky incident caught on CCTV reportedly took place on Chinese New Year’s day, when the clip’s owner and his family worshipped their ancestors.
At 3AM, the owner stated that he heard his dog barking and whining for unknown reasons, according to NewsWorkpoint.

Upon seeing the footage, the man believed that Toto was playing with its late owner, a granny who had passed away, because the dog was very close with the old lady when she was still alive, as reported by Sanook.
Netizens believe the dog playfully frolicked with the spirit of its late owner
After the clip was posted, many netizens agreed with the clip’s owner that Toto was playing with his late owner.

While many netizens believed the doggo was playing with the spirit of its late owner, one Facebook user believed that the dog may have just been uncomfortable with its collar.
Believe it or not, don’t disrespect it
Whether or not you believe that the dog was playing with its late owner, we’d suggest against disrespecting the beliefs of those who do.
After all, a little hope doesn’t hurt anyone.
If the pupper’s late owner did come back to play with their loyal friend, then we feel very happy for the dog who got a chance to meet his beloved hooman once again.
