Pitbull rescued from a drain in Chonburi


For many households with pets, dogs are important family members because of their loyalty. So, when they disappear from home for many days, it can leave their owners distraught.

That’s why stories that involve doggos getting reunited with their families are meaningful ones indeed.

For example, this lucky pitbull was rescued from a drain after the dog disappeared from home for seven days.

Rescue team cautiously rescued the doggo


The pitbull was first reported missing by his family for seven days.

He was later found crying for help in a drain located in front of a convenience store in Chonburi. The rescue team successfully rescued the doggo after giving him some snacks in order to calm him down.

The team mentioned that they had to consider potential aggression from the anxious doggo, reported Naewna.


The family was happy to be reunited


Several days after the pupper’s disappearance, Facebook user Chong Jumpathong posted about it, hoping someone might have spotted him.

He was worried as the doggo has never disappeared like this, even though the family would let the pupper out for strolls within their residential community.

Mr. Numpol, a member of the rescue team, revealed that someone from the Waterworks Centre reported a restrained dog in the drain. It turns out, the dog was the pitbull that went missing.


Bonds that can’t be broken


Due to locals’ efforts and compassion, a pitbull who was in need was able to receive timely help, after what must have been a tumultuous seven days away from home.

We think it’s also wholesome to witness a bond as strong as this – humans and dog connection that can never be severed.

May all lost doggos continue to be rescued and reunited with their families, just like this one.
