As Thailand’s COVID-19 situation gets better each day with no domestic transmissions, the country is now approaching its ‘3rd phase’ of lockdown easing, which allows more businesses to reopen.

On 1st June 2020, the nation can expect to welcome back businesses as follows:

  • Cosmetic clinics and tattoo & body-piercing shops
  • Spas and traditional massage parlours
  • Gyms and fitness centres
  • Sports venues such as boxing gyms and football stadiums
  • Ballroom dancing venues
  • Water sports activities like jet-skiing and kitesurfing
  • Bowling alleys and skating venues
  • Cinemas and theatres
  • Zoos

However, people are still required to wear masks whenever possible. Additionally, restrictions are still applied for each business to prevent possible transmissions.

The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has decided to shorten the curfew by 1 hour. Starting last night, the national curfew now takes place from 11pm to 3am.

The initial curfew time was 11pm to 4am.

It seems that everything in Thailand is slowly returning to where it once was again.
