Here’s the story of a guesthouse worker who fell asleep during the night shift and woke up to find valuable items stolen.

Pattaya guesthouse burgled by man in a hoodie


Ms. Pimaphka Hemla, a staff at a guest house in Pattaya, Chonburi, filed a complaint to the police following burglary at her workplace in the middle of the night on 17th March 2022.

She also provided police officers with a security camera’s footage showing a man in a hoodie stealing valuable items from a counter at the lobby.


Worker falls asleep during the burglary


Working the night shift, Ms. Pimaphka admitted that she fell asleep while the burglar was stealing items.

According to Pattaya News, the thief reportedly made off with cash worth ฿54,870, gold necklaces, and rings, for a total of ฿160,000 in stolen items.

Police officers have already investigated the scene and are currently searching for the whereabouts of the thief.
