The end of last year, the province decided to transform its blank walls and gigantic bridge pillars into a canvas for local artists to paint whatever they felt represented the community.

As a result, all 36 paintings around the area capture the locals’ way of life, mostly in the past, ranging from historical places in the province to its floating market culture.

Fun 3D paintings

Though all artworks here were created to tell the community’s story, that doesn’t make your experience here any less fun.

Many artists have adopted the illusion technique in their paintings, allowing us to interact with them in certain angles – you and your friend will have so much fun taking photos here. The best part is that we don’t have to pay fees to enjoy them, like in many 3D galleries around town.

This street art may not be an event and anything of the sort, but there’s also no confirmation that the paintings will be here permanently, so you’d better hurry!

Beautiful lit bridge at night

If you’re spending time here till the evening, you’ll get to see Maha Chesadabodindranusorn Bridge’s rainbow light installation. This arguably makes the bridge one of the most photogenic bridges in the area.

The bridge’s rainbow lights will be turned on between 6am to 9pm, daily – jot the time down so you won’t miss out on it.

Getting to the bridge from Bangkok by car will take you about an hour. The street art will be on the opposite side of Nonthaburi Pier, and you can follow the map here to get there.

Take a couple of hours out of chaotic Bangkok and spend time some taking photos with these cool street paintings by a scenic, peaceful river view.
