NakornChai Air is a leading private bus company in Thailand known for its comfortable rides and high standards. with different types of buses from the usual 2-2 seat layout to “First Class” with 2-1 layout with spacious seats.

Many Thais compare their experience with NakornChai Air to travelling by airplane.

To ensure the COVID-19 safety guidelines, the company announced their plan to launch a ‘social distancing’ First Class bus with a 1-1-1 seat layout earlier this month. By the looks of it, the bus has 2 aisles with 3 seating rows, providing more space for travellers to walk.

The new bus appears to be a major revamp of the company’s current First Class that has a 1-2 massage seat layout with only 1 aisle. 

NakornChai Air is yet to confirm whether or not the new First Class bus will replace all of its current First Class buses or simply add the new model to the family.

Bigger screens and more space

Another major change is that the entertainment screen for each seat looks significantly bigger and better in quality. 

And while it appears to be thinner than the current version, their new black massage seats look even more spacious.

As of today, the routes and launch date of this new First Class have yet to be announced, but we can expect it to be released in near future.

Although NakornChai Air is known to be a bit more expensive than any other companies, the locals still prefer it as it has low accident rates as well as impressive services.

Personally, I’m a big fan of this bus company and am very excited to try out this new First Class bus.
