Woman offers ฿300,000 to individual who finds her missing cat


It’s heartbreaking for pet lovers that their beloved animal go missing. Luckily, in most cases, those ‘lost’ pets are often found safe and returned home safely.

On the other hand, it might even turn out that these animals are able to find their way home by themselves. Here’s the story of a Thai woman who found her pet coming back home on its own.

Scottish fold goes missing


On 18th April 2022, a Thai woman named ‘Manee Thara’ posted on her Facebook that her Scottish Fold had gone missing from her house on Sunday 17th April 2022.

The female Scottish Fold had reportedly escaped from the Noble Tara gated community in the middle of the night. The Facebook post’s owner also offered cash reward worth ฿300,000 (~USD8,870) to anyone who found her lost cat.


Feline found returning home on its own


After spending two days searching for the cat, Ms. Thara finally reunited with her beloved pet.

In another Facebook post on 21st April 2022, she announced that Manee returned home on her own.

Earlier, the security guard had spotted the feline walking around the community before he told the cat’s owner about his discovery.

According to the post, Manee was reportedly sent to the hospital to have its health check up.

Ms. Thara also thanked authorities, community members, security guards, and volunteers for their efforts in finding the cat.


Netizens share congratulatory message to the owner


The announcement post was widely shared by netizens across social media – garnering over 11K shares and 45K likes. Many netizens congratulated the cat’s owner on finding her lost cat.

A big round of applause for those helpers


Wo would like to give a big round of applause for those volunteers’ effort in helping the woman find her lost cat for two days.
