When not shopping, a modern shopping centre can be dull to walk around. Imagining a European town in Thailand to stroll around in sounds like a dream, and this one just happens to come true.

Mimosa Pattaya is a pseudo-French village that offers more than just a place to shop, with its bright colours and attractions to visit.

Every corner is photogenic

The shopping village is modelled after Colmar, one of the most romantic old towns in France. The streets of Mimosa are lined up with old town style cottages and green gardens.

Pattaya’s version has a more Disneyland-like vibe compared to Colmar’s pastel houses, and is appropriately named after an orange juice cocktail for its vibrant atmosphere. It is a town with clear sky and water, perfect for a sunny day.

It looks closer to a fairy tale town than its inspiration when combined with its attractions and photo-friendly streets.

Speaking of, don’t forget to see the cabaret shows while you’re there. No fairy tale town is complete without song and dance.
