We recommend trying their Khao Pad Kai Yerm Poo (฿280, size S), a creamy crab omelette with fried rice. Don’t be fooled with it being small-sized – it actually comes with a generous amount of fried rice that can feed up to 2-3 people. The highlight of the dish is its omelette, which has a juicy texture that allows the sweet flavour of the thick crab meat to come through.

The fried rice also tastes good and goes well with the egg and crab, with a distinct smoky flavour from being wok-fried.
Besides the omelette, we also recommend going for other well-loved sides. As the restaurant is famous for seafood, you should go for some Pla Muek Pad Khai Khem (฿220), stir-fried squid with salted egg.Â
For foodies who would like something more adventurous, pick the Goong Chae Nam Pla (฿150); raw prawn in a spicy sauce, for a burst of flavour. Plus, the restaurant owner is very proud to present her Poo Khai Nung Nom Sod (฿1,500, 1 kg) – that’s steamed crab roe with fresh milk. Not something you’d typically find in most restaurants in BKK!
