Event organiser, Fresh Air Festival, announced that a football match between Liverpool and Manchester United will take place at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.

The English premiere league teams are set to face off in Thailand for the first time on 12th July 2022. The event was dubbed THE MATCH Bangkok Century Cup 2022 while it’s being called the ‘Red Match’ by Thai football fans and media outlets.

Vinij Lertratanachai, CEO of Fresh Air Festival, revealed that the Bangkok’s Stadium is now under renovation to bring audiences an experience that’s as close as possible to stadiums in England, according to Coconut News.
He also expects that this historic match will attract tourists to visit Thailand, aiming to help boost the country’s economy and tourism, as reported by The Nation Thailand.

Recently, the picture of the stadium’s seats for booking was uploaded on Facebook. Tickets will be available for sale on 2nd April 2022 (10AM) via Thaiticketmajor with the prices from ฿5,000 (~USD150) – ฿25,000 (~USD751).
