Have you ever seen bags, shirts, or any fashion items with an IKEA logo? Those items are really popular at shopping spots like Chatuchak Market, but they’re not the official products created from the super-brand itself.

IKEA’s first ever apparel line is called the Efterträda Collection, which is Swedish for ‘successor’. The company also shared, “Could our clothing and accessories line succeed our home furnishing solutions?”

This collection is a collaboration between IKEA Japan and the headquarters in Sweden, taking inspiration from seeing people in Tokyo wearing unofficial IKEA merch.

So, the Harajuku branch is now the first branch selling the collection from now to 6th August. Then, all items will be available internationally on 7th August online.
