Halal Thai application

No doubt we’d like to know if food fits our dietary restrictions – it can sometimes be a little tricky to find Halal-certified products in an instant.

Though, the Centre Islamic Council of Thailand has made checking whether an item is halal much easier: they’ve launched the Halal Thai application, which is free and available for Android and iOS users

Halal Thai application has over 140K items

With over 140K products registered, you can check the certified products from frozen food, fresh food, instant noodles, coffee to restaurants. It comes in both English and Thai language options, making it friendly for all Bangkok residents.

Halal Thai has a barcode scanner

This innovative application comes with a barcode scanner – so you can either type in the names of the products or scan the barcodes of items you find.

Even while shopping for groceries online, users can still enter the names of each product to ensure that it’s halal.

Technology has brought a lot of security and convenience to many users – it has also shown how easy it is to be inclusive of everyone.

These days, we can do online shopping and product checking in order to ensure our livelihoods.
