Not your usual police emergency
It’s known universally to call the police for help when you’re in a dangerous situation, and this Thai grandma from Udon Thani province surely needed help – although she had quite a unique problem.

A Facebook page named Thailand Police Story recently shared this hilarious story about the poor grandma, who had no one to turn to when her grandson refused to go to school to take his exams.
Translation:Â A grandmother tearfully walked up to Pol.Snr.Sgt.Maj. Suwet Srisook and Pol.Snr.Sgt.Maj. Jadet Petchwichit were on duty today. She asked them to persuade her grandson, who is in Grade 9, to take his exams.

The post went on to share that the boy was fast asleep when the two officers walked into the house. Fortunately, they managed to knock some sense into him, sharing the importance of having an education.

He eventually got dressed and was escorted to school by the officers via motorcycle. How awesome.

The post has been shared over 6,000 times, garnering around 1,500 comments. Many netizens have spread their love and appreciation for the policemen and grandma for being caring towards the young man’s education.
Translation: They are truly people who do everything for us. We need more cops like this.
