Free ice cream for stray pups
It’s wholesome to know that many of us are dog lovers. However, as we can see on social media, stories of abandoned dogs are aplenty, which breaks our hearts.
Some lucky ones have been adopted and their lives were changed, like the receptionist dog at Hyundai in Brazil and the overweight Mercedes who was rescued from a wet market in BKK.
One group of pups in Ratchaburi have been fortunate enough to find a kind ice cream seller who has been giving them free ice cream since they were little puppies.
“This might be their first meal, that’s not a loss at all”
Facebook user มาย’เนม แอ๊นท์ shared a heartwarming story of an ice cream seller and three dogs. The uncle has been giving free ice cream to these three canines since they were little puppies, without thinking about how it might be wasting his costs.
The user shared that she had brought her daughter to buy ice cream, when the seller said, “Wait for a minute. I’ve got three little customers there”.

She was confused when we noticed that there was no one else around. But suddenly, the uncle shouted out loud “The ice cream is ready!” and 3 white dogs quickly ran for their ice cream cones.

The uncle said, “These are my regulars. When they were puppies, I used to give them bread. And they want ice cream cones now.”
He also added that he always gives them some ice cream when he sets his cart up and when he’s about to leave.
The customer asked the uncle why he decided to give the dogs free ice cream even though he’d be taking it in as a loss. He then said, “This might be their first meal [of the day], that’s not a loss at all”.

The story was touching, so the customer decided to pay for the ice cream costs for all dogs.

Many Thai netizens shared the post and commented on how cute the dogs are. Many also appreciated the kind-heartedness of the ice cream seller and wished for the uncle to have a better business moving forward.
