Folk theatre troupe performs for empty venue

Given the current situation, many people have been asked to stay home in the interest of curbing the spread of the virus.

Considering these measures, there has been a decrease in the number of visitors at entertainment venues. Many of these businesses have had to temporarily close, affecting many entertainers’ livelihoods.

Though times may seem bleak, this group of Thai folk entertainers hasn’t lost their fire and passion for doing what they love.

Here’s the story of a Thai TikToker in Rayong who drove over to see a folk theatre troupe who was performing for an empty venue and brought along flowers and gifts of encouragement.
