6 New COVID-19 Cases In Thailand, Total Discharged Patients Now At 2,796

With measures easing up across the country, Thailand continues to see a decline in COVID-19. 6 new cases were declared today with no deaths, bringing to total numbers to 3,015 cases and 56 deaths respectively.

The 6 patients were all reported in Thailand’s southern provinces, with 4 in Phuket, and 1 each in Yala and Narathiwat provinces.

Additionally, 2 people have recovered, with the number of discharged patients at 2,796 and 163 patients still hospitalised.


Steady decline of COVID-19 cases


The country saw a spike in cases in March-April, with 188 cases being the highest number of patients reported in a single day on 22 March.

Bangkok is also the city with the largest number of cases at 1,547, followed by Phuket and Nonthaburi at 220 and 156 respectively.
