Rotis are served as a dessert in Thailand. They’re also a meal or a side dish in many Thai Halal restaurants and hawker shops.
However, it can be a little tricky to find the right roti place that suits our needs. But now, look no further because Ms. Suvisan and Ms. Sukanya’s Mama Roti in Phang-Nga is a joint – these charming roti ladies are known for their good food and vibes.

Two roti ladies who serve rotis daily with their signature charms, have been pushed into the spotlight recently.
Mama Roti is so well known in the Thai Muang District in Phang-Nga that many regulars flock to sit and dine at their eatery.

Due to their growing popularity in the news and social media, some customers even bring their selfie-sticks and have we-fies with both of them.

It’s always been Ms. Suvisan and Ms. Sukanya’s dream to sell roti because they’ve always enjoyed it with their mother since their childhood.
They’ve been able to earn around ฿100,000 (~USD3,211) per month, as mentioned in an interview with DJ Poom.
Only an hour drive from Khao Lak
Their eatery is located roughly an hour and a half away from Khao Lak town’s city centre – you can support their dreams and cause by driving there on a motorbike or rented car.
