New BTS Skytrain from Bangkok to Pathum Thani

Besides the new Marimekko trains and Gold line, BTS Skytrain has another surprise for Bangkok commuters. The train service is now offering a new route which can take you from Bangkok city centre to Pathum Thani without having to sit through hours of traffic jams.

BTS Sukhumvit Line had 4 extended stations for commuters in June 2020, which ended at Wat Phra Sri Mahathat (N17) station.

  • Saphan Mai (N20)
  • Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital (N21)
  • Royal Thai Air Force Museum  (N22)
  • Yaek Kor Por Aor (N23)

The terminal station Khu Khot (N24) is located in Pathum Thani province, so it means that we will have another route that goes out of Bangkok, taking around 1 hour from the city centre.
