Bangkok is a city that’s known for its amazing nightlife and holiday culture, with festivals like Songkran getting people from all over the world to experience it for themselves.
But there’s no need to wait for the water festival to enjoy a good cool down – Bangkok’s got an array of pool parties for party animals to go for a dip with a drink in hand with their buddies. Some even take place monthly, so here’s what to pen in your calendar the next time you’re down for a visit.

So Sofitel’s outdoor pool is located on the 10th floor and hosts monthly pool parties organised by their pool bar, The Water Club.
This 32m-long rooftop pool allows you to enjoy a 180° view of the city, where you can admire Lumphini Park with a background of the city’s skyscrapers. SO Pool Party, happens on the last Saturday of every month, and the upcoming one will be on 25th January 2020.

The parties can have special themes depending on the season – December’s edition saw classy Chandon sparkling wine themed get-together to ring in the new year.

2. Splash Pool Party, Aloft Bangkok Sukhumvit

Splash Pool Party takes place on the rooftop of Aloft Bangkok Hotel in Sukhumvit Soi 11. The pool here is surrounded by greenery, so that you can enjoy the afternoon under some cool shade.
Splash Pool Party will be hosted on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 2PM to 8.30PM. DJs who frequent the parties are known for their hip hop tunes, so don’t miss it if you’re a fan.

3. Beats by the Pool, W Bangkok

5-star hotel W Bangkok offers Beats by the Pool at its WET Desk rooftop pool every 1st Saturday of the month.

Their 206-square-meter outdoor swimming pool comes with a cityscape view and adorable duck floaties to sit on and bask under the sun.

The January Edition just happened on 4th January 2020, but you still have time to get ready for next month’s party.
Tickets usually cost ฿700 per person with 1 drink on MEGATix website, but there are limited pre-sale tickets that are offered at only ฿400. So, stay tuned for more information on Facebook.

4. amBar Pool Party, Sheraton

If you want to chill out under the clear skies, head over to the 8th floor of Four Points by Sheraton to take a swim in their rooftop pool.
The hotel hosts amBar Pool Party every 1st Saturday on the month, with the next party taking place on 1st February.
There are also live bands to get the crowd going

5. The Oasis Fest, Amari Westgate Bangkok

Amari Watergate’s open-air pool on the 8th floor is decorated with lush greens and palm trees, giving it a relaxing beach resort vibe.
On 18th January 2020, The Oasis Fest will kick off their first pool party, which takes place quarterly across the year.
Ticket pre-sales are now on Megatix at ฿500, which include a drink. Tickets cost ฿650 at the door.

Other than enjoying drinks and music, partygoers can take part in different activities like BBQ sessions, beer pong, and other fun games. Moreover, there is plenty of space to chill around, so don’t worry about fighting for space with the crowd.

The Westin Pool Party takes place at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok, which is very accessible by Sukhumvit MRT and Asoke BTS station.
Its 227-square-meter rooftop pool will get the party going on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

To celebrate the new year, the upcoming Westin Pool Party – January Edition will be happening on 18th January 2020.

Compass Skyview Hotel’s infinity pool is where the Famous Pool Party will take place every quarter of the year.
The party starts at 3PM, but you don’t have to worry about the hot weather because their pool is hidden under the shade of the building. The best thing that foodies take note of is that there is a free flow food buffet 3PM-5PM!
