As Christmas and New Year are right around the corner, most shopping malls around Bangkok are decorated with ravishing lights and festive decoration to keep everyone jolly.
ICONSIAM is a popular mall that’s known for its glamorous design and a big variety of stores. And now it’s hosting a lavish light installation called Bangkok Illumination 2019 to take part in the holiday celebrations.

The installation takes place at the River Park on the G floor and ICONSIAM Park on the 2nd floor. Both open-air spaces are situated next to the Chao Phraya River, so you’ll get breezy, cool air as well as magnificent backdrops for your next IG post.
Giant Christmas trees and glowing flowers

On the ground floor stands the highlight of the installation – a 22-metre tall golden Christmas tree, accompanied by shorter silver and rose gold ones on both sides. Unlike your typical Christmas trees, this trio of “trees” is made of shiny present boxes with Thai-style prints on them.

You’ll also find huge Christmas ornaments scattered around the area with dancing fountains in the background.

On the 2nd floor, there’s a field of glowing roses that change colours, which look absolutely mesmerising.
From now to 5th January 2020
You can visit this special event from today until 5th January 2020 from 6pm – 10pm. And there’s no entrance fee!
Grab your friends or family and headed to ICONSIAM to admire this swanky light installation that is specially tailored for Bangkok’s Christmas and New Year holiday.
