Air quality in Bangkok


Air quality has been the concern to many Bangkokians for several years now. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be getting much better – earlier this week, the air quality was deemed dangerous in Bangkok’s 36 districts by the Centre for Air Pollution Mitigation.

Besides Bangkok, other provinces were affected as well – Tak, Samut Sakhon, Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son.

In order to check real time air quality, it can be checked through the Air Visual website – users input the location they wish to monitor.

 The mark for safe PM2.5 levels in Thailand is 50 micrograms/meter according to the Nation Thailand.  


Always prep for going out


For those who need to go out, you can take your N95’s along. Better yet, stay indoors unless absolutely necessary to leave the safety of your home.
