When you first enter the country club, you feel very welcomed as you feel as though you have stepped into luxury, however, the story changes as you enter your "suite".

The suites, as they call it, are very poorly maintained. It is akin to those chalets in Aloha Changi. If you are looking to hold a birthday party, sure, the place is very functional as you can have games and what's not in the main living area and your friends can sleep over in the rooms. However, if you are looking for a romantic getaway, I am afraid that you might be disappointed.

My daughter asked me a question when we were staying at the chalet. She asked, "Is this really a country club?". When I found out why she asked the question, I agreed with her observation.

The reception area and the club house looked classy enough that you will believe you are in a country club. But if you checked into one of their chalet, you would notice that the country club standard was not maintained. The room we had was not very well maintained. The doors and windows were difficult to open because the hinges and locks were not lubricated and were rusty already. We got a two bedroom chalet and when we first opened the door, there was a musky smell and we needed to open all the doors and windows to freshen the air.

The BBQ pits could also be improved. The tables and benches looked ready to be retired and my pit even had quite a big hole at the back.
