Pepperoni Pizzeria serves the best pizza in Singapore. The sign of a good pizza place is when even their plain Margherita pizza is droolworthy, and Pepperoni Pizzeria more than exceeds it.
Their pizza has a deliciously thin crust, which is covered with melting cheese and the topping of your choice. My favourite is the pizza heaped with parma ham and rocket leaves. The slight saltiness of the parma ham goes amazingly well with the decadent cheese and tomato base.
Pepperoni Pizzeria also offers the biggest pizza ever known to Singapore. Their XXL pizza is a whopping 21 inches! It’s my dream to order that one day.
Ever since moving to the Bukit Timah area, Peperoni’s has been my #1 place to head to for fresh, handmade pizza. It is located just off the main road, in the Binjai Park estate, drawing in crowds of friends and family at all hours of the day.
If you’re there in a large group, order their massively popular XXL Pizzas to share. This 21-inch monster of a pizza is made to order every time, and can feed around 5 or 6 people. You can choose up to 2 kinds of pizza, and I recommend the signature Saucission (pepperoni) and the Prosciutto Crudo di Parma (Parma ham and rocket with shaved Parmesan). The pepperoni pizza is sinful and insanely cheesy, which provides a contrast to the lighter, more refreshing parma ham pizza.
Peperoni’s serves up pizza, pastas and traditional Italian sharing dishes in a warm, family-friendly environment. In my opinion, their thin-crust pizzas are one of the best you can find in Singapore, and there’s always something for everyone at Peperoni’s.
XXL pizzas are not just good for the gram’, but great for group meals too. I’ve always returned to the ol’ familiar Pizza Hut for my pizza, but was one day offered a treat here by a friend.
My group of friends included 5 guys and 4 girls, and we had ordered two XXL (21”) pizzas in four flavours, paired with some sides. I kept on insisting that we wouldn’t be able to finish it, but no one listened. The two monster pizzas that arrived were definitely Instagram-worthy, and had an extremely thin and crispy crust. I usually liked my pizza crusts thick, but here, you aren’t given a choice. Two XXL pizzas made sure that I was stuffed though, so thin crusts are probably the way to go if you needed to eat more slices. Another thing I noticed and was really impressed about was that the lighting at the Suntec City outlet was amazing despite how dim it looks - perfect for the gram’.
Nothing special about the pizzas here, except for the fact that you can get them in sizes bigger than twice your head. It’s really worth it for big groups though, so do visit here with a large group of friends in the future!
The chefs at Pepperoni are serious about their pizza. Their pizzas are made the traditional way, by hand and with fresh ingredients, baked in a wood-fire oven. All their pizzas have a crispy thin crust, just thin enough not to steal the show from the ingredients, but thick enough to fill your tummy.
Pepperoni’s specialty is their XXL pizza, because, bigger is always better. They can comfortably feed 4 people each. There is a wide range of flavours available, and if your group cannot agree on just one, choose up two flavours for your pizza.
My personal favourite the Prosciutto Crudo di Parma, which is a Parma Ham pizza with rocket salad and an extra sprinkling of cheese on top. Also, just eat with your hands, a pizza this good deserves a human touch.
If you ever walk around the basement of Suntec City near dinner time, you'll notice the one restaurant that never fails to have a snaking queue outside - Peperoni Pizzeria. And with good reason. Their pizzas are simply so good they are worth every second of the 45 minutes wait.
I visited Peperoni on a Saturday night and boy was it hard to get a table for six. The branch at Suntec does not accept reservations and everyone in the group must be present before you can be seated. Throw in the fact that there is only one oven baking everyone's pizza, and you've got yourself a nice long wait for the food to arrive.
We ordered two giant pizzas (21 inch) to share but with two different toppings for each pizza. if you love black olives, the Napolitana comes richly smothered with olives and anchovies. I found it a tad salty but it was still delicious nonetheless. My favourite though was the Salmone. The sweetness of the raisins and caramelized onions complemented the salmon chunks perfectly.
The two pizzas fed us very well and Peperoni is definitely one of the more budget friendly places for group dinners. Highly recommended!
I visited the Zion Road branch on a Saturday night at about 8pm and we were seated pretty quickly for a large group of 8 with no prior reservation made.
Peperoni stands out for its super value for money XXL pizzas at $50 each. For a table of 8 we ordered 3 XXL pizzas but couldn't finish them all so I think 2 XXL pizzas and possibly two sides would have been perfect. They have a variety of flavours to choose from but my personal favourite is the Salmone - caramelized onions, capers and generous chunks of salmon. I also felt the Zion Road outlet was a lot more generous with their salmon portions than the one at Binjal Park!
All in all Peperoni's is a really good place especially for group dinners and they do delivery as well even for their XXL pizzas.
Peperoni's famous giant pizza is a must-order item if you're there with a group. The XXL 21 inch pizza feeds around 4-6 people. You even get to choose two different flavours for your pizza - at a mere $50!
We had the Pancetta (Cured bacon, sliced tomatoes & egg) and the Prosciutto & Funghi (Ham & mushroom). Both flavours were equally impressive. To start off, despite the pizza being so enormous, the crust remains crispy and firm even towards the centre of the pizza. The thin crust was perfect as an accompaniment to the flavourful pizza toppings.
The Pancetta half of the pizza came with several soft baked eggs sitting atop. It was a truly gratuitous moment of luxury biting into the soft yolk and melted cheese. The star of the Prosciutto & Funghi was actually the funghi. The porcini mushrooms were smoky and juicy with a lovely pungent 'shroom aroma.
To top it all off, Peperoni has a lovely wood-furnished interior that gives off a homely fireplace vibe. They even have a wall with these words in 3D typography: "All we knead is love". Too cute to handle. I'll definitely be back - it's one of my favourite pizza places now.
One thing Peperoni is famed for is their monstrous 21-inch pizza and I can tell you that it's not without reason. These pizzas are huge, and they do not sacrifice quality for size.
Their pizzas are thin-crusted and all the flavours I've tried there are pleasant and satisfactory. They have a great texture for chewing and they do not overcompensate with dough/flour. You can be assured that you will be having savoury pizzas. The service crew were friendly, and the price is really affordable as well. For $15 a person, you will get an extremely filling meal.
Peperoni is great for gatherings - especially if you're dining with large groups of friends. They have a casual atmosphere where you can talk and laugh freely, with great food for accompaniment.
Popped by last Friday for a meal and the serving is HUGE!
The sheer size of the pizza is DEFINITELY the main crowd pleaser.
Really liked their mushroom pizza as well as the parma ham one.
On the side note, the pepperoni pizza was a little too oily but surely as delicious as ever.
So do take note if you're ordering that!
I think much has been said about the 21 inch pizza, and I'll say that it definitely lives up to its hype. I have this conception that if the pizza is this huge, it's either expensive or it doesn't taste good.
Four of us shared that pizza and we were stuffed by the time we finished. Each of us paid about $10 and it was really delicious as well. The parma ham, salmon and all the other ingredients were really fresh, to my surprise. Definitely a place I'd visit again if I'm thinking of a pizza night with my friends.
