Lionel Lewis

Lionel Lewis was born on the 16th of November, 1982 in Singapore. He was known as a goalkeeper for Singapore's 'national soccer team'. However, he retired from the soccer industry in 2012. 

He originally played under a club called Geylang United. He became a part of the Singapore Young Lions after playing in 60 matches for the aforementioned club. He migrated to Home United in 2004 temporarily. He was also included in the 'Protectors' lineup during the AFC Cup.  He came back to working under the Young Lions and Home United in 2005. He was also trained under Manchester City.

Lionel Lewis was seen playing under Singapore's National Soccer Team during several SEA Games, King's Cup and 2004's Tiger Cup. He was nominated for the 'Asian Footballer Of The Year Award' in 2006.

He was educated in Nanyang Polytechnic, Novation Business School, Sports And Leisure Management and University Of Wolverhampton. He attained a degree for 'Sports Management' in the latter. 

Additionally, he tied the knot with an ex stewardess; Jenny Lam. They have a daughter together called Jennel Larissa.
