Ya Hui

Winner of the Miss Telegenic Award at Star Search 2007, Ya Hui was one of the hot favourites in a TV talent scouting contest that was telecast live.

After the grand finals, Yai Hui was chosen as the face for the TVC of shampoo brand Silkpro. She was offered a contract with MediaCorp and landed herself a prominent role as Tao Wen Zhu in the long form drama, "Love Blossoms", acting alongside Ivy Lee and Zheng Ge Ping, who were the winners for Best Actress and Best Actor at the Star Awards. In 2009, she joins Chen Li Ping, her mentor for Star Awards, in the popular drama serial "Reunion Dinner" as mother and daughter. Her outstanding performance in the drama serials earned her nominations for the Newcomer Award of the Year in The New Paper Flame Awards 2008 and the Best Newcomer Award for Star Awards 2008.
