Vivo city has been my favourite mall of all times since its opening. It was a nice thing to add in the west with the amount of shopping centres popping up in the east like the baby boom after the war.

In this wonderful mall there is a substantial variety of quality shops though like every mall, I wonder why some shops can still stay around so long. Classic favourites in the shopping centre includes soup kitchen, swensens, daiso, and carnivore. Food is definitely one of its growing income with so many food outlets from the basement all the way to the top.

This is also the mall where you can catch a monarail to Sentosa Island, where Universal Studios Singapore, Resort World Sentosa and the favourite teenager beach known as Siloso Beach. The monorail is located on the top floor or can be accessed from the back of Vivo City through a garden pathway. the garden pathway is highly recommended if you want something challenging and have the extra time to spare to slowly walk your way up into Sentosa. What's more, by choosing this green transportation of walking, Sentosa also rewards you with a low entrance fee.

When evening falls, this place can get extremely crowded from the quality shops and food outlet it offers so try to catch a meal early and enjoy the night sky of Sentosa on the roof garden after dinner. It is a wonderful sight except for the kids which love to play around the shallow waters and create a riot. If possible, find a spot looking over to Sentosa either at the roof or behind vivo city on the ground floor for a peaceful and romantic time with your significant other.

The all-in-one shopping mall

Vivo city is the largest Shopping Centres that I know despite only having 3 levels from Basement 1 to level 2. There are also level 3 but it is a water relaxation area whereby kids would play in the water and people will sit around there and talk to one other. That is one of my favorite places to chat with my friends after eating lunch as we get to see the view of Sentosa and the seas while chatting.

Also, I could say that Vivo city is a great place of entertainment, shopping and eating. Level 1 is like a women’s paradise. Branded shop almost everywhere, you name it, they have it. Forever 21, Topshop, Fox, Gap, Pull and bear etc. etc. For entertainment wise, there are arcade, karaoke, and cinema.
I find the eating places the best! It’s like the all the different stores located in just one Shopping Centre. If you can’t decide what to eat, there are three air-conditional food courts available and a lot of restaurants around the whole mall.

Furthermore, Vivo city is the best mall because of the monorail. It is easily accessible at level 3 whereby individuals would just pay $3+ to enter Sentosa.
Highly recommended! :D

Everything you can find Here !!!

Don;t know where to go after a tired work or a trip to Sentosa, VivoCity is definitely a place to recommend. Situated near the seas of Singapore, I simply love it especially when I have finished my shopping and wanted to breathe some fresh air outside of the shopping center.

Easily accessible by 2 MRT Lines (Circle Line and North-East Line), it definitely provides convenience to students or people that have no private transport.

Among all outlets at Vivo, I love Daiso the most as it sells a variety of products with only 2 dollar, no more or less. Additionally, other mega outlets are also available like Giant, Tangs. For gatherings, VivoCity is a best place as the cinema and karaoke t chill out and relax!!!.

VivoCity, a must-go place in Singapore!!!

VivoCity, being Singapore 's largest retail and lifestyle destination, indeed live up to its name. It house over 30 food catering outlets ranging from Superdog which is located at basement 2, to my favorite Marché Restaurant. I bet you won't go hungry while shopping at VivoCity, for there are just so much you can choose from. If Marché is too expensive for you, you may go for Subway located at basement 2, which is so much cheaper and filling. However if you feel like going for some high-tea chill session with friends, there are the Fruit Paradise, Starbucks Coffee, Gloria Jean 's Coffee, Starbucks Coffee, Gelare Cafe waiting for you. So why wait, faster rush to VivoCity for a shopping experience like never before! Hit the Like button if you love VivoCity like I do, thanks!

Huge shopping mall where you can spend an entire day

Vivocity really holds its own in the area by being the biggest and the best shopping mall with proximity to Sentosa and the Orchard stretch by convenience of the MRT. It is able to fully capitalize not just on tourists, but on most locals as well, thanks to its large distribution of shops that ensures that one is able to spend an entire day just walking around Vivocity alone.

Golden Village also has a huge cinema there, which probably acts to further pull customers, such as me, to Vivocity, because I find myself going there pretty often even though most of the shops are what I can find in town as well. Not that it's bad, because Vivocity doesn't get old even after multiple window shopping sessions - it just has that many things to see in one shopping complex.

Easy to lose your coordinates in

In all respects, Vivo is indeed an outstanding shopping mall. I remember being in awe of the place when I had my first visit there, in 2003 during the SARS epidemic. It was a turbulent period then, with everyone being fearful of catching the bug. The retail therapy, offered by the vast multitude of shops there, really did help my family alleviate part of the stress and worry then, and it was the first time my dad consented to buy the young boy (me) an action figure, Gandam if i'm not wrong.

Over the year, Vivo still has not lost its appeal to me. I visit the shopping mall regularly once a fortnight and still enjoy exploring new corners I've not walked before. However, its vast size, while an asset, can prove to be vivo's undoing. Due to numerous sections that the mall offers, it is easy to lose your coordinates and get lost. The shops do inevitably look the same after some time. Moreover, the help desks are quite difficult to locate and the large crowds that are often there don't help as they can sometimes block the crucial signs that can help you navigate your way out.

Really loved the type of shops there! Burned a hole in my wallet though! The layout is pretty confusing as vivocity is really huge, but i really love the atmosphere there, and the ceilings are really high and pretty.

VivoCity is one of the largest and most popular shopping malls in Singapore. Not only is it accessible, it also represents a gateway to Sentosa Island. It is also a good place to shop with the vast amount of fashion stores, to watch a movie, to sing karaoke, or to have a meal. VivoCity also boasts a spacious rooftop garden which will allow you enjoy the lovely view of neighbouring Sentosa Island, with Universal Studios Singapore's Battlestar Galactica roller coasters in clear view. The night view coupled with the night breeze is beautiful, even romantic (but there are often many people up there so maybe not..), and allows you to appreciate Singapore.

Fantastic except for the amount of walking

VivoCity easily has the best location among all the malls in Singapore - it's sitting on prime waterfront land, facing Sentosa island. You don't have to be in the rooftop open space to enjoy the view; there are balconies on every level and the ground floor boasts a lovely promenade. There are also a couple of wet playgrounds that keep children occupied. VivoCity is both teen- and family-friendly!

The list of stores and facilities is very comprehensive: all the big brands, a massive cinema that screens artsy films from time to time (GV Europa), a hypermarket (Giant), and a good department store (CK Tang's). No problems there.

My only issue with VivoCity is that it has a weird sort of triangular shape that makes shoppers walk a lot. If I just finished my movie and I want to find a place to eat, I always have to stand still, try to remember where a restaurant is, then walk there. It's not easy to have the patience to walk around in the triangle to consider each restaurant slowly.
