Puts the 'heart' in 'heartland mall'

Tampines 1 breathes life into the tired shopping scene at Tampines. Even with Tampines Mall and Century Square, the shopping at Tampines was growing a little stale before Tampines 1 was constructed. Bringing retailers like Payless ShoeSource, Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins and New Look to Tampines, Tampines 1 is like a little slice of Orchard Road for the residents there.

The exterior of the mall is modern and grand, and the interior classy and bright. The mall is organized with the boutiques and retailers on the lower floors and the restaurants and eateries on the higher floors. In the basement, there are pushcarts selling clothes for a cheaper price. A cardigan would cost approximately $10 - $15 there. There are also stores selling finger food such as hot dogs and pretzels in the basement, so you can easily grab some food and go.

Tampines 1 is one of the best heartland malls in Singapore and provides a fantastic shopping experience for the inhabitants of Tampines. The residents living there can easily spend an entire day shopping and eating in Tampines 1 despite its small size, and when growing bored of it, can simply mall-hop to the nearby Century Square or Tampines Mall.
