The Lush Shop would surely catch your eye as you walk past their beautifully scented and colourfully-decorated interior.

This shop is one of it's kind in Singapore. They have all types of soaps, bath bombs, and other skincare products that you cannot find anywhere else in Singapore. Some of the flavours and smell of these products are so bizarre and would definitely spice up your bath time. They also have special packaged soaps for special reasons like a birthday gift. The packages are extremely pretty in the way they are decorated, and would make a nice gift.

The prices here are a little hefty for soap, but I treat myself to some products here once in a while! They leave me smelling so good!

Your sense of smell hits you first before this shop even comes into your vision. The smell may be overwhelming at first but you'll get used to it eventually. Once I stepped into the store, I felt like I was in a candy shop because everything was so colorful and vibrant.

Personally, my favorite product from Lush would definitely have to be their bath bombs. If you have a bathtub at home, you should definitely go get one of these to try. Although they're a little pricey (it can range from $6-10) for something that can only be used once, I think they're definitely worth a try. What else can make bathing more fun than seeing a little ball with confetti and glitter sizzle around in your tub filled with water? And when it stops fizzing, that's when you get a luxurious tub filled with different confetti ( the confetti varies on the bath bomb ) and magically colored water. Every time I use a bath bomb I feel like a queen. I really think a bath bomb is worth splurging on once in a while, just as a little treat to yourself.

Also, this is the season where you should really check the shop out. They come out with all these ridiculously cute season specials nearing the holidays which makes me want to spend all my money. So if anyone is interested, I would say Christmas would be the best time to check the shop out. I would really recommend picking up a bath bomb. To add on, all Lush staff members are really friendly. Not in a pesky way but they seem genuinely nice and friendly. I've never come across a staff with bad service before so thumbs up to them.

All in all, I really do think that Lush is a great place to buy body products at. Maybe not as daily products because it's quite pricey but definitely appropriate when you want to give your body and mind a treat!

Luxurious bars of soap and scent

Whenever I walk past this shop, I can't help but go in and breathe in the intoxicating mix of floral and honeyed scents that fill the air.

So far, I've tried their products like the Volumizing shampoo and also a serum that you put on the ends of your hair to smoothen it out. The shampoo was alright, but didn't seem to do much for my fine, limp hair. As for the serum, I liked it a lot, but gave up using it in the end because the smell was just too overpowering, and with the serum being used in a place that was in such close proximity to my nose, I ended up getting a headache on some days.

I guess their handmade body soaps would be the most ideal for daily use. I've never tried them myself but smell good. As a friend once said, they made her smell "like a flower".

The products can be a little pricey, but if you're looking for a little perk-me-up in the mornings, they would probably do the trick. Another point to note would be that these products contain no preservatives, so you do have to finish using them within a couple of months once bought.

There is no way you can miss the overpowering scent of Lush as you roam through Wisma's basement. The strong, soapy scent can be quite a turn off for some shoppers and some of my friends actually refuse to enter the shop because of the 'repulsive scent'.

However, I strongly encourage you to step into the shop and discover the beautiful, intriguing wonders of Lush products!! My favorite spot is this large table near the cashier with a huge selection of colorful bar soaps. Go ahead, pick up a bar and smell it, you won't be disappointed! If you are unsure of the usage/benefits of the products, don't be shy to approach their friendly staff. So far they have been kind and extremely helpful every time I go there, even if I walk out without buying anything.

I recommend buying a small bar of their soap to try, but you should consult their staff to find out which soap is more beneficial and suitable for your skin. Their bestseller is Honey I Washed The Kids, which is moisturizing and smells great! However, the scent did not last very long after a shower. Personally, I like the Sultana Of Soap, the scent lingers on your skin for a longer period of time.

If you are unsure, you can ask for a small piece of sample of soap to take home to try!

Lush is without a doubt one of my favourite products of all time. Its mixture of rich scents are so refreshing, it will unknowingly draw you into the store. Their bath salts are strongly scented and I personally feel it to be great after a good gym work out or a long day at work. The salts thoroughly scrub off dirt and dead skin, allowing you to feel fresh and comfortable throughout. They also provide a relatively wide range of body soaps that are a must try. Each time I patronise the store, I spend a good amount of time picking out the soap bars and smelling them individually for a favourite scent. The freshly made bar soaps provides a great soothing feel of richness experienced on your supple skin, indulging you in pure luxury at the comfort of your choice.

Amazing products

You don’t have to know that lush is around the corner, you can smell it before you even see it with your eyes. The Lush store is known for its overpowering scent, at times it can get choking. Braving the smell and stepping into the store was probably the last on my list before I knew how amazing lush products are. To anyone who has the same sentiments I had, if you’re willing to overlook that minor detail, I’m sure stepping into lush won’t give you a bad time.

It’s always an enjoyable time in lush that you’ll be spoilt for choices. Not only do their products impress, their service is remarkable too. I have never encountered a pushy or unfriendly sales lady in lush which is very important to me. My first and all time favorite purchase was the Mask of Magnaminty. It is a facial mask cum scrub infused with China clay and peppermint oil that helps to reach deep within your skin to cleanse the debris off your skin. The peppermint oil leaves your skin feeling refreshed with a cool, tingly sensation - a pleasing feeling for such warm weather in Singapore. This mask is well suited for people with acne prone skin as it helps soothes irritated and inflamed skin.

This unquestionably won’t be the last of my purchase from lush, I’ve yet to try the other products but they are definitely on my list. Here’s a tip: Get your family/friends to buy bottles of lush back for you from the US/Australia, they cost a fraction of the price there than in Singapore! Don’t worry if you can’t get them overseas, these products go a long way so they’re worth spending every cent.

My sister and I are avid followers of organic, natural and homemade skincare. Lush is one of the brands we would never miss! I'm delighted that they are back in Singapore again. I love their homemade face masks. I've tried "oatifix" and "brazened honey". Oatifix is great when your skin is dry and needed moisturizing. Oats and grounded almond act as exfoliating scrub when you are washing off the mask. Brazened honey is more for tired skin and it reinvigorate your skin. My sister recommended "catastrophe cosmetic" for occasional outbreak and I'm going to try it after I finish mine. As the masks have a short life of about 1 month so it is not advisable to buy too many at one time.

Their hand made soaps are also one of the best sellers. Luscious soap with heavenly scent, tempting me to take a bite. Personally I have not tried the soaps as I still preferred shower foam or gel. My sister bought some and she said the soap also act as air freshener. Her bathroom was filled the aroma of the soap.

Lush is one of my absolute favourite brands, I have tried more than ten different products and adore them all. I love their fun brand personality, environmental efforts and wide range of amazing-smelling natural handmade products!

Entering the store, you’ll be greeted by their friendly staff. All Lush employees apparently have to go through training before being hired so the service here is always above average. Most of the products are contained in black pots with only their names differentiating them so it is definitely quite confusing and overwhelming at first. But not to worry, the friendly staff will be happy to help you out. It also helps if you do some research online about the product you want beforehand.

Otherwise, it is also good to walk around the store yourself and discover the products for yourself. Lush tries to minimize their packaging and their black pots are made from recycled materials, so by supporting them, you are supporting conservation efforts.

There's no denying that Lush products ARE on the pricey side. But when used wisely, your pot or bar of soap can last a long time so it’s definitely worth it in the long term.

The store at Orchard Gateway is always bursting with the most wonderful smells that hint of sunny days and lazy summer nights (not exactly something Singaporeans have a proclivity for, but I suppose the Western romanticized idea of a summer night with campfires by the beach haunts me).

The products smell fresh. Fruity, but not overwhelming and sweet, but not overpowering. These are not your Victoria's Secret or The Body Shop scents - even from the outside, the tangy citrus smell rejuvenates you and spurs you on to walk into the store.

Their products are so cute and fun, but so impractical for me. Never mind the fact that I don't have the time to take a full bath - I don't even have a bathtub. Although honestly, I'd try and borrow one just to try out their bath bombs - I've heard they fizzle and dye the water colours and are basically just magical.

LUSH holds the promise of illusion and enchantment.

First off, let me just say I LOVE Lush!

I first got the hype from YouTube makeup gurus who would always feature them in haul videos and what not, and I just had to try for myself - yummy, all natural scents with benefits to boot? Are you serious?

I hit Lush a while back to just browse, and fell in love with their sweet smelling soaps, interesting bath bombs, cream tubs which are designed to help you get rid of... let's leave it as 'imperfections' and even cosmetics? Heaven.

Left with a whole lot of goodies, and even now, my mama still has a couple of the soaps that I got her - she doesn't use it, I don't get why, but she likes to keep it in the bathroom to freshen things up. Does this mean that the products are multifunctional?

Please drop by the stores, even if it's just to browse like I did - and I'm not too sure if I'm slow on the outtake, but Lush is actually the first place where I found dry shampoos! My expression was seriously like this: OoO when I saw it.

Staff were really well-informed, products were spectacular, pricing was ahem, well... a tad too much for bath products but... quality! A happy body and face makes for better application to whatever you want to put on yourself, I'm not judging!

A good base starts with good products, so why not try out Lush's?
